Shipping & Customs <br>We offer delivery services to Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Mainland China. Orders to Hong Kong and Macau typically take 1 to 3 business days, while orders to Taiwan and Mainland China may take 7 to 14 business days. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. We will email you again once your order has been shipped. We will contact you via email regarding any out-of-stock items or potential delivery delays.
Regarding shipping costs and express delivery
Free shipping on orders over HKD 1000; orders under HKD 1000 incur an HKD 80 shipping fee. Shipping from Hong Kong to Mainland China is via SF Express; shipping from Macau is via JD Logistics; shipping from Taiwan and other regions is via Hong Kong Post.
Customs and Duties <br />Orders shipped to Mainland China may be subject to import fees, such as customs duties and other taxes. BIOEFFECT has no control over these fees, nor do we assume any responsibility for them. If you have any questions about these matters, we recommend that you check with your local customs office before ordering.
Things to know about cross-border shopping in Taiwan
According to Taiwan's customs regulations, imported goods may incur customs duties, value-added tax, and other related taxes and fees. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient; our company will not pay them on your behalf and cannot estimate the exact amount.
Once the goods arrive at customs, the local logistics company or customs may contact the recipient to provide the necessary documents for customs clearance (such as identification documents, proof of purchase, etc.). Please cooperate promptly to avoid delays.
Tax rates and tax-free allowances may vary for different product categories. It is recommended to check the latest regulations on the Taiwan Customs website or tax authorities before placing an order.
If the package is returned due to customs issues, our company will negotiate a solution with you based on the actual situation. The round-trip shipping costs and customs risks shall be borne by the customer.

Dr. Björn Örvar is the co-founder of BIOEFFECT and the Chief Scientific Officer of ORF Genetics. He holds a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of British Columbia, conducted postdoctoral research at McGill University, and then returned to Iceland to found ORF Genetics.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iceland and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Copenhagen, where she has experience in dermatology and clinical drug development.

Dr. Jón Már Björnsson is currently the Director of Research and Development at ORF Genetics. He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Lund University, Sweden. Prior to joining ORF Genetics in 2009, he served as the Head of In Vivo Biology at deCODE Genetics (Iceland).

Berit holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and currently works as a biochemist in the Formulation Analysis team, focusing on product development. Prior to joining ORF Genetics and BIOEFFECT in 2008, she conducted mass spectrometry analysis research at deCODE Genetics.

Guðrún Valdís holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Iceland.
